Up for offer is the 4 issue limited series Firestar (1986) 1-4.

Firestaris amutant superheroine appearing incomics published by Marvel Comics. Debuting in 1981 on the NBC animated television series, Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, she has the ability to generate and manipulate microwave radiation, allowing her to fly and create intense heat and flames. In the comics, she has acted as a solo hero and as a member of the Hellions, (a sub-group of the Hellfire Club),the New Warriors, the Avengers, and the X-Men.

In 1986, Marvel decided to give Firestar her own limited series. The Firestar four issue mini-series depicts events both before and after Firestar\'s first appearance in Uncanny X-Men #193. In this series, she goes from a shy, insecure girl afraid of her powers to a confident superhero capable of easily defeating super villains. Tom DeFalco and Mary Wilshire were the creative team on the series.

Series features guest appearances by many Marvel characters, including Cannonball, Nightcrawler, Professor X, Kitty Pryde, the Black Queen, Emma Frost the White Queen, Colossus, Storm, and Wolverine.

As stated above, this listing is for Firestar (1986) Issues 1-4. Highlights include:

Issue #1, published in March 1986, was written by Tom DeFalco, with art and cover by Mary Wilshire. With guest appearances by the New Mutants (Cannonball, Mirage, Sunspot, and Wolfsbane) and the X-Men (Nightcrawler, Professor X, Kitty Pryde, and Emma Frost (the White Queen).

Issue #2 has a great Firestar blasting Wolverine cover by Mary Wilshire. Other New Mutants (Catseye, Empath, Magik, and Magma) and X-Men (Cyclops, Colossus, Storm, and Wolverine) join the party!

Issue #3 has a cover by legendary creators Art Adams and Bill Sienkiewicz. With Wolverine and the White Queen.

Finally, Issue #4 has a cover by another legendary creator Barry Windsor-Smith. With the White Queen and the Black Queen of the Hellfire Club.

All of the issues are 1st prints, and come bagged and boarded.

All of the issues are in the Very Fine to Near Mint range.

Grading is subjective, and only my opinion. Please look at the pictures and ask any questions before offerding.

These 4 issues book for over $16, but my starting price is just $6, which is just $1.50 per issue.

All comics have been stored properly in a smoke free home, and have been sealed since purchase.
