Title translation: “SACRED HISTORY OF THE PROVIDENCE AND CONDUCT OF GODON MEN SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE WORLD”.
Published by the Author in Paris, France in1730. Known as the “Demarne Bible”, a collection of religious iconographyprints which became very influential and popular and an inspiration for otherartists of the period. Demarne (1673-1755) was Engraver to the King of France.
