- Watch the fire rise from the holy altar in this incredible recreation of King Herod's iconic 2nd Bes Hamikdosh. There are two sizes of this design. This is the larger and more detailed version, with 3,480 pieces. The detail is meticulous. The looks are striking. You will love this brick model.
- Once completed, this model measures 10” x 20.” It is a full scale model, and roughly twice the size of most architectural block sets. The grandeur of the Bes Hamikdosh in Yerushalayim is truly amazing. Some details include the awesome column of fire and smoke, the correct copper color of the Nicanor gate, and this larger model also features rings to hold the holy sacrifices, as well as the slaughter tables. This layout is pictured in the Steinzaltz (Koren) Talmud, several Rambam editions, and many specialty books on the Mishkan and the Holy Temple.
- A sharp 9 or 10 year old can do this model themselves. Both sizes of this model have great, clear, color directions that should not be confusing whatsoever. The box has a sticker to email us if you encounter any missing pieces. This is unusual, but a replacement will come very quickly.
- Includes two complete printed "Lay-Flat" manual that provide clear, step-by-step instructions, making the building process rewarding and enjoyable. Each manual corresponds to the two base plates, so two people can work on the model at the same time.
- Perfect Judaica Gift: An ideal gift for Chanukah, Bar Mitzvahs, Bas Mitzvahs, Afikomen Gifts at Pesach, birthdays, or any occasion to celebrate the rich history and religious significance of the Holy Temple.
- We have discovered a large non-Jewish audience for our authentic Biblical history brick models. Many have found them to provide a devotional uplift, because it provides a physical reality to what we otherwise read as stories. This King Herod Holy Temple is referenced in the King James Bible in Matthew 24:1–2, John 2:20, Luke 21:5–6, Acts 3:1–10 (especially verses 2 and 10), and Acts 21:28–29.
- o For Orthodox Jews, brick models are generally considered mutar even for adults to build on Shabbos and Yom Tov! Most poiskim agree that brick models are not boineh, and are fine for even adults to build, and even to leave built if completed on Shabbos, but please consult your rov.
