Up for sale is a beautiful, highly detailed antique Indian Gunga Jamuna water pot (lota or kamandal) dating from the late 19th century to early 20th century. This heavy-gauge, spherical brass vessel is a superb example of traditional Indian metal craftsmanship, featuring an intricate, 360-degree hand-engraved narrative scene.Design & Iconography:
The central narrative frieze showcases a continuous jungle scene populated by hand-worked wildlife reliefs.
