Antique Indian brass and iron "temple toy". This unique piece is was hand crafted from solid brass and iron in the Early 19th century.
The figure is a chariot horse with a regal rider leaning back. It is very ornate and detailed. The horse is on rolling, functioning brass wheels.
Traditionally these pieces were kept in temples for children to play with. They would tie strings on the front of the horses to pull them along. Now it would make an unforgettable toy or ultra unique decor
Condition - Great antique condition. Wheels are tested and working. The metal is covered in beautiful aged patina
