Ninjas are usually associated with the Throw command which allows the user to take an item or unequipped weapon from the inventory and throw it at the enemy for massive damage. The downfall is this item/equipment is lost forever as soon as it is thrown, so it's essential to choose wisely. They also come with high speed, high agility, and an affinity for thievery. They also have the staple of being able to equip a sword in each hand, doubling their attack power.

NAME: Ninja
OVERVIEW: Evolves from Thief. He knows some Black Magic, similar to a Dark Knight.

NAME: Ninja
OVERVIEW: This class is best physical strength job class (as opposed to the Shaman whose primary power is magic). It does not share many characteristics with the other Ninjas.
WEAPONS: All weapons, but primarily shuriken
ABILITIES/MAGIC:
  • Fight - Attack with equipped weapon
  • Defend - Increase defense power for one turn
  • Run - Run away from battle
  • Item - Use an item from inventory
  • ATTRIBUTES: High strength, high HP, low magic defense, low magic

    NAME: Edge (A.K.A. Edward Geraldine)
    OVERVIEW: Edge is considered a Ninja, but shares many characteristics with Thief.
    WEAPONS: Uses blades best
    ABILITIES/MAGIC:
  • Dart/Throw - Throw any item or equipment at enemy
  • Sneak - Steal an item from the enemy
    Ninja:
  • Flame - Cause fire damage to all enemies
  • Flood - Cause water damage to all enemies
  • Blitz - Cause damage to all enemies
  • Pin - Paralyze one enemy
  • Image - Project two images of the self to avoid the next two physical attacks
  • Smoke - Flee without losing GP
  • ATTRIBUTES: High strength, high speed, average magic

    NAME: Ninja
    OVERVIEW: This Ninja also uses the Double Lance which can strike twice.
    WEAPONS: Knives, Full Moon, Rising Sun, Double Lance
    ABILTIIES/MAGIC:
  • !Smoke - Escape from battle quickly
  • !Image - Project a ghost image to allow user to dodge the next two physical attacks
  • First Strike - Become the first person to perform an action in any battle
  • !Throw - Throw a weapon from the inventory with no chance of missing (default)
  • 2-Handed - Allows character to equip a weapon in each hand (except two-handed weapons) (default)
  • ATTRIBUTES: High strength, high speed, low magic

    NAME: Shadow
    OVERVIEW: Official job class is Assassin. He cannot equip two swords.
    WEAPONS: Knives, Throwable weapons
    ABILITIES/MAGIC:
  • Throw - Throw a weapon from inventory
  • ATTRIBUTES: High speed, high attack power, high evasion

    NAME: Yuffie Kisaragi
    OVERVIEW: You get the Throw materia when Yuffie joins your party.
    WEAPONS: Shuriken
    LIMITS:
  • Greased Lightning - Combination of a close-up and a distant attack
  • Clear Tranquil - Restores minor HP to party
  • Landscaper - Causes earth damage to enemy
  • Blood Fest - Attacks the enemy brutally ten times
  • Gauntlet - Damages all enemies with blue light
  • Doom of the Living - Slashes fifteen times at all enemies (targeted randomly)
  • All Creation - Massive beam slams into enemy party
  • ATTRIBUTES: High MP, high speed, low HP

    NAME: Ninja
    OVERVIEW: Can fight with two weapons
    WEAPONS: Uses katanas best
    ABILITIES/MAGIC:
  • Mijin Gakure - Sacrifice life to deal damage to enemy
    Ichi Ninjutsu:
  • Tonko: Ichi - Lessens chance of being detected by sight
  • Utsusemi: Ichi - Creates three shadow images that each absorb a single attack
  • Katon: Ichi - Deal fire damage to enemy and lower its resistance against water
  • Hyoton: Ichi - Deals ice damage to enemy and lower its resistance against fire
  • Huton: Ichi - Deals wind damage to enemy and lower its resistance against ice
  • Doton: Ichi - Deals earth damage to enemy and lower its resistance against wind
  • Raiton: Ichi - Deals lightning damage to enemy and lower its resistance against earth
  • Suiton: Ichi - Deals water damage to enemy and lower its resistance against lightning
